"Does me fine." Roland raised his hands, almost defensively, as she snapped. "Just curious, no more." He looked back at her, tucking his hands into his pockets, and raised one eyebrow. "As for those who'd bring lead and gunfire to my wedding day... I'll warn your kin, and I'd hope some of my own tet would see what's amiss, but in such times, it's hard to be too careful. Strap on your gun, and keep a keen eye on those who draw close." Something in his voice suggested he'd rather welcome it if an attack was made.
