It did take Roland more than a little by surprise, making him splutter for breath. He'd never fucked a woman who did that before, and it actually took him a moment to figure out what had just happened. Sitting up, he wiped his mouth with the back of one hand, liquid clinging to the five o'clock shadow that was starting on his jaw. It dripped off the point of his chin, and he smiled slowly, licking his lips.
"I think they heard that in the Outer Baronies," he said rather smugly, shifting back up to lie beside her, and pushed her hair back from her face with the cleaner of his hands.
