"It'll wash." Turning to face her, he indicated the case. "Bandages and a few herbs. It's not much, but nor's the hurt. It'll be worse in a couple of days, when it starts to itch. As for modesty..." Wonder of wonders, he actually twitched a short smile. "You saw me fresh out of the bath yesterday, and today we were married. I think if I were modest, I'd be over it by now."

Indicating for her to join him, he went to sit down on the edge of the bed, pausing only to pick up the ewer from the table by the window.
